Ok, I was DYING to be in the same class with my Best Friend, but we werent, and in our school, the same kids in the homeroom are the same in all the other classes, and our stupid science report is due on Monday, but all the rest of the sixth grade's report is due on Wednesday..
Why is this year that miserable??

Being split up with a best friend isn't that bad...
Your friend can distract you from doing work,
And judging by the date this was posted,
you had at least two days to do the essay.
And are you in Grade 7?
If so, I think the teachers are challenging you more then the younger generation.
